Microsoft Monitor: New IE Security Update: "Today, Microsoft released a cumulative security patch for Internet Explorer, available here. The update is an out-of-cycle patch, which means Microsoft regards it as fairly important. Microsoft typically issues security patches on the second Tuesday of every month, so December 14 is next scheduled release. Customers running older Windows versions are at greatest risk. Those running Windows XP with Service Pack 2 don't need the update."
